Kristy DeBernardi and Clint Griggs both attended a week-long charity golf tournament in Los Angeles for their work and a chance to help support a good cause. This brief encounter turned into the beginning of their love story. After the tournament, Clint continued to court Kristy and a personalized gift basket sent to her work with all of her favorite things meant the world to her and signified the start of their dating relationship. Nine months later, during a fireside chat in The Montage Beverly Hills, Clint asked Kristy to be his wife. Their wedding was a glamorous affair in the heart of downtown San Diego. The couple left the next morning for a three week honeymoon to Paris and London.
