Julia & Scott

The Connect: The first day of moving into the dorms at UCLA, Julia met Scott. They dated 8 years before they got married.
The Proposal: With an impromptu trip to Palm Desert, Scott took Julia on the Aerial Tram in Palm Springs to see the views over the desert and a hike atop the San Jacinto Mountain where he found a perfect opportunity for photos and to catch Julia off guard with a proposal.
The Celebration: They really wanted to make their wedding as personal as possible so they chose unique vows, special readings from friends and a moment to thanks their family for all their support. They chose festive Spring colors of apple green and raspberry. The evening was filled with lots of great toasts, plenty of laughter, a full dance floor and even a serenade from the bride’s father and his friends. The final highlight was delivered at midnight to the lingering guests when 150 In-N-Out burgers were delivered and devoured in minutes as a late night snack!
Julia’s Advice:
“If you can, try to extend the weekend with additional events to connect with your guests. These proved to be some of our favorite memories from our wedding.”
