The Connect: They met in the 6th grade and through time became high school sweethearts. They were in a relationship almost ten years before they married.

The Proposal: The couple had gone on a mini vacation to Seattle, Washington and then backpacked to Olympia National Park. Chris proposed on bent knee while enjoying the tide pools at sunset. Samantha accepted the proposal!

The Celebration: They chose to get married in San Diego since they both had attended UCSD for college. They love the beach so they chose Ocean Villas to accommodate not only their interfaith ceremony, but also several of their friends coming to town for their wedding. They could all stay at the property in the condos too. Beautiful shades of blues and pinks and accents of white made for beautiful décor with style and San Diego flair! They had moved from San Diego before their wedding, so it was important to incorporate the many elements of San Diego that they loved.

Samantha’s Advice: “Don’t be afraid to splurge on a few details. They are worth it if it makes you happy! There are always ways to cut things that aren’t as important to you.”
