Temecula Creek Inn May 22, 2010
The Connect: They met the old-fashion way… at a bar.
The Proposal: Jason popped the question with help from their dog, Buddy. He had Buddy dressed in a tuxedo with the ring hanging from his neck. Anne found the two of them in the bedroom and Jason got down on one knee and proposed. She cried, “yes” and hugged them both.
The Celebration: The couple chose Temecula Creek Inn’s Stone House because it was such a unique venue with an outdoor, rustic setting and natural beauty. They chose a palette of fall colors in vivid jewel tones of orange, green, brown, gold and a deep purple to set it all off. The overall country rustic look was pulled together with coordinating bandanas as napkins and the floral arrangements designed in tin pails with alternating lanterns as part of the table design. Then to dress it up, they added ribbons and crystals. As nighttime fell, more candles were lit as well as the lanterns and fireplace to where everyone could roam around freely and mingle while dinner was served from cooking stations. The evening was capped off with a large fire-pit where everyone could enjoy a favorite outdoor dessert, s ‘mores. The couple felt their wedding was a perfect reflection of the vision they had from the start of their planning.
Anne’s Advice:
“When planning your wedding have a vision of what you want your day to feel like and book your venue and vendors early since the good ones book up quickly.”
