The Connect: The two met at an Irish Pub in St. Charles, Illinois. The connection was immediate where they shared the love for travel and helping the needy. They began dating and soon moved to Southern California after Lidia’s trip to India.

The Proposal: On a moonlit pier at Seal Beach, Matt surprised Lidia with the proposal.

The Celebration: After an elegant ceremony at the St. Francis Chapel in Balboa Park, the couple and their guests headed to a private estate in La Jolla. In an effort to mix the world cultures, the couple integrated her Polish traditions along with his Middle Eastern heritage including belly dancers and a hookah lounge. The private estate allowed for the wedding to have a museum feel with the magical mix of many religions and cultures. The colorful affair with 80 guests was everything the couple had imagined. It was perfect in every way.
