The Connect: They met through mutual friends while in college but had to endure the test of a long distance relationship while Chris studied abroad for a year.

The Proposal: Seven years later, Chris proposed during a family vacation while enjoying a walk in Newport Beach, California.

The Celebration: Due to the timing of their event, they chose to meet at a near by Bed & Breakfast prior to the ceremony for photos. Enjoying a moment of alone time together made it feel all the more special for the couple. They chose the beautiful Museum of Natural History with white, greens and browns as their color palette. The event was truly as they wished a “family affair” with a beautiful ceremony officiated by Kate’s uncle. Attention to detail was not spared at this joyous celebration.

Kate’s Advice: “Don’t get caught up in the little things that don’t perfectly go as planned. Allow them to roll off your back so you can really enjoy your day!”
