The Connect: They met through a mutual friend and roommate.

The Proposal: After dating for some time, they decided to just go look at rings. Portia showed Dwight what she liked and left it up to him. Then one day he surprised her in a somewhat joking manor that he had bought the ring. After a quick bet, Portia was shocked when Dwight came around the corner with the engagement ring in hand and formally proposed.

The Celebration: The wedding was everything she had dreamed. She had a vision, and allowed her coordinator to pull it together. They chose vibrant turquoise and oranges as core colors along with additional splashes of colors. The day was everything she dreamed of and more.

Portia’s Advice: “Don’t compromise. You only plan your wedding once. Hire a coordinator that you can trust to pull off your vision.”
