The Connect: They met through a friend at a Halloween Party while attending medical school. There was immediate chemistry between the two and they continued to date through residency.

The Proposal: The couple set off on a trip exploring the Olympic Peninsula in Washington and drove down the Oregon Coast. They stopped for a hike at Cannon Beach where Barry proposed overlooking the coastline and beautiful natural arches. Rebecca accepted and the planning began.

The Celebration: The couple wanted to have an eco-friendly wedding in order to lessen the impact that their celebration would have on the environment. They chose the new Robert Paine Scripps Forum which is a green building itself. The ceremony was held overlooking the ocean under a chuppah that the bride’s mother had sewn using family heirlooms. They selected turquoise and chocolate brown to accent their beautiful and modern wedding.
