Paree & Robert

Four Points Sheraton November 28, 2008
The Connect: They met when their friends decided to play matchmaker and insisted that they meet. The couple chose a Starbucks for their initial first “blind date”.
The Proposal: On a rainy Superbowl Sunday, the couple opted out of the parties for a drive which ended at Cabrillo Lighthouse in Point Loma. After a walk up the hill in the rain, Robert got down on one knee and proposed. Paree jokingly said “no” first, then quickly smiled and agreed to marry him.
The Celebration: They truly blended cultures and traditions and filled their celebration with fun and laughter. Their ceremony was conducted in two languages for all to follow which was a special touch. The couple chose the Four Points by Sheraton Hotel to host their colorful celebration. They worked hard on offering their guests cultural options of Middle Eastern food mixed with Afghani and Middle Eastern dessert buffets. They chose both American and Persian music for their event to make all their guests and families feel at home.
Paree’s Advice: “Whatever you budget expect to pay more. Your wedding planner can save you money by negotiating and helping with vendor referrals.”
