Rebeka & Tyler

Inn at Rancho Santa Fe October 11, 2008
The Connect: During their final semester at Cornell University, the two met at a school Rugby team auction. Tyler convinced Rebeka to participate for the cause. Tyler won after being the highest bidder for one of the restaurant auction items. He swiftly used his new prize as an excuse to ask Rebeka on their first date.
The Proposal: The couple planned a trip to Napa Valley Wine Country, where Tyler organized a romantic wine tasting on the balcony of the Domaine Carneros Estate. Tyler had the ring slipped into Rebeka’s champagne glass then directed her to carefully look into the glass which appeared “very sparkly”!
The Celebration: They really wanted their wedding to include many family members to make it special for all of them. The couple chose the Inn at Rancho Santa Fe for both their ceremony and reception. Their soft color palette included a combination of ivories and greens with a hint of pale pink. The large front lawn served as a beautiful setting to their wedding on a beautiful blue sky. They had a large wedding party so they decided to have a sweetheart table for the couple to enjoy their first dinner as husband and wife together.
Rebeka’s Advice: “There are millions of things that can go wrong and its better to just turn on cruise control and enjoy the fruits of your labor, your family, guests and most importantly... your new spouse!”
